I know, I know. Totally corny headline. But I really needed to grab your attention so you don't miss this HUGE announcement.
I'm just going to get straight to the point, if that's alright. Sort of like ripping a bandaid off quickly, so it doesn't hurt.
The first week of January 2014 (possibly earlier, but I doubt it), ChristianSuperMom.com and UnEmployedFaith.com will be going away.
...but wait!! Don't click away in frustration yet. There's more to this announcement.
Ever since I started my intentionally focused walk with God He's been pushing me out of my comfort zone left and right, and I've grown so much from it.
I still sit in absolute awe over what He's done with my passion for writing. First a blog, then a book, then another blog, then another book, then another book, and another in the works, and more ideas brewing...
What's even crazier is that He's given me a platform or as some in the blogosphere like to call it - a tribe - and He continues to add to it!
For quite some time I’ve felt the Lord revealing to my heart a necessary change of course. It's time to step out from behind the ChristianSuperMom logo and be me. The woman He's been hard at work molding and refining for His glory.
Yep. I went there. (and my knees are shaking just a little bit...shhh...don't tell anyone.)
So very soon, I’ll be launching RosannCunningham.com and I’m so excited for you to see it!
It’s not ready for the world’s eyes yet, but you are certainly welcome to go peek at my coming soon page!
Wanna know something pretty cool?
Several years ago (long before I even knew what a blog was) my husband secured the RosannCunningham.com domain name. He's been paying for it every year since then, even though we had no idea if I'd ever use it.
I like to think that was a God-inspired move.
God knows the big picture before we can even begin to imagine it in our own mind!
Seriously people. Total awe happening here in my heart!
Here are some quick details about the new website:
- Launch is scheduled for January 2nd, 2014 - if it's ready before that date, I'll launch sooner, but I don't think it will be. I have a lot of work to do still.
- If you follow me because you just like me as a person, - thank you, by the way! - You’ll get more Me.
- Fresh new content. My goal is to publish something new and wonderful at least twice per week.
- I will be writing about things like Christ-Centered Marriage, Christian Motherhood, Homemaking Inspiration, Living a Lifestyle of Faith, Real Family Life, and Writing for the Glory of God. (I realize that's a lot of variety, but that's the beauty of having an author site!)
Why not manage three websites?
You may be wondering why I can't just have three websites. Lots of people do it, right?
Yes, lots of other bloggers run multiple websites. They also tend to have help doing so.
Unfortunately, I don't have help. There’s only one of me. Hubby works full time outside of the home, so he can't really help all that much. I have not hired any virtual assistants nor do I have any volunteers assisting me in my online writing life.
I don’t believe it's glorifying to God for me to put ministry before my relationship with Him, my marriage and my children. When I'm trying to run multiple websites and multiple Facebook pages and run a support group and work on writing books and respond to all of the other distractions that come with having an online presence, my family sits waiting on the back burner. Not good.
Having only one website allows me the time and energy to be more focused on providing quality writing and encouragement, while still being able to enjoy life and the gifts God has blessed me with.
One more change coming sooner rather than later...
If you've Liked my UnEmployed Faith Facebook fan page, it will be merged with the ChristianSuperMom fan page. If you've Liked my ChristianSuperMom Facebook fan page, you will soon notice the name changing from ChristianSuperMom.com to 'Rosann Cunningham, Writer', or something similar depending on what name options are available when I request the name change.
Keep following me here in the meantime (I'll still be writing), and I'll be sure to communicate changes before they happen. Thank you so much for being a fan of ChristianSuperMom and UnEmployed Faith. I truly appreciate you!
Oh! Before I forget, if you are wondering what will happen to the UnEmployed Faith private support group, please don't worry. I have no intention of shutting that down. It's growing and the members there are feeling less alone in their storm. It stays!
So what do you think? Are you as excited as I am? I pray you'll be following me over to my new online home when the time comes!
