Hi there! Welcome to my blog!
If you are visiting for the first time, perhaps from the UBP 2012 hosted by 5 Minutes for Moms, I'm so grateful and thrilled to have you here!
Okay, let me share a little bit about myself and this blog.
I'm Rosann, wife {10yrs now!} to the man of my dreams, mommy to two sweetly spirited little girls {3 & 6}, and woman with a great big heart for God. Oh, the name of this blog - don't let it scare you off. I'm Christian, but I'm far from SuperMom!
At least not the SuperMom you might initially think of when you hear the word SuperMom. You know, the kind of mom you compare yourself to and after doing so, feel like you're failing your family (and yourself!) because you can't do everything she does as well as she does? Ya…I'm not that kind of mom, nor would I ever claim to be. I'm just your average mom next door learning as I go.
When I first began this blog, I was striving to become more like the Biblical SuperMom, the Wife of Noble Character as described in Proverbs 31. What I've come to learn though, is her role is not about accomplishing multiple tasks really well for the glory of God.
Rather, she is an honest woman of strength, diligence, faith, loyalty, and wisdom, all of which come from and through her deep relationship with God. Being a Christian SuperMom is about living and breathing love for God and love for others every single day throughout the journey of womanhood and all that entails.
My mission here is to love you and encourage you as you walk through the multiple roles of your life. If you subscribe by email {look in the sidebar}, once or twice per week you'll get a piece of Christian encouragement in your email inbox sharing nuggets of truth in motherhood, parenting, and marriage. I also enjoy writing about things I'm passionate about, like faith, family fun, fitness, blogging, photography, and so much more.
One more thing I want to share with you is my heart for a very special subject in today's economy.
Unemployment.
{and it's emotional impact on a family}
Maybe you've personally felt the sting of this recession too.
I even wrote a book about it and have another website where I keep a blog in hopes of encouraging other women who are experiencing the overwhelming emotion of having an unemployed husband.
You see, my husband and I just went through a 3yr season of recession related unemployment. Talk about having our world turned upside down! Anyway, it was a very lonely and embarrassing time in our life and could have easily destroyed our marriage. Thankfully, we chose not to allow that to happen. If you'd like to know more about my story and how I coped through our difficult time, click here.
I hope you'll leave a comment introducing yourself. I love to make new friends!

Awww, no problem Jennifer. I just know I'll get some wonderful tips out of you, even if I do have only girls.
Visiting from the UBP- hope you're enjoying the party!! I just had to meet the Christian "SuperMom"- but it is so true that the Proverbs 31 woman was not about ALL that she did, it's about who she was and her devotion to her family and God. I look forward to getting to know you better!!
Warmly,
Jenn

Visiting from UBP! I just signed up for your emails. My soul is hungry for more of God - in small bites! It has been a big struggle to stay in the Word with 3 little boys 3 and under. I look forward to getting to know you better and for sharing your emails with some of the mamas in our MOPS group! Have a blessed weekend!
Great post. I am visiting form UBP. I followed you on Google+, twitter and liked you on FB. It has been great getting to know other Christian bloggers.
